Dean Reichert
Dean Reichert is a seasoned pro with years of experience both on the stage and in the studio. His powerful guitar work, and soulful vocals are a driving force in any situation he's involved in as well as being highly respected on the west coast. He has worked with Jazz Fusion great Jeff Lorber, and appeared on his second album “Soft Space”. Singer / songwriter Kathy Hart also appearing on her 2000 Grammy nominated CD "Lucy Mongrel". He recently wore both the Engineer and Co-Producer hats on the highly acclaimed Mark Riley CD "Confessions of a Mad Man" nominated best blues CD of 2003 by the Washington Blues Society. He has graced the stage and studio with Larry Correll, Nokie Edwards, Jerry Miller, Tim "Too Slim " Langford, "Little Bill" Engelhart, Kenny G, Tom Grant, DK Stewart, The Wailers, Seattle Soul Divas L J Porter, Korla Wygal, and The Seattle Women. In 2001 He joined the great Seattle based blues tribute band The Blues Power Revue, and later that year became the third member of the Jazz trio Butterbean. While in Portland he was both guitarist, and musical director for Blues great Margo Tufo. Dean is also no stranger to wearing the hat of "Band Leader" and has lead 3 very successful club bands during his career.
And now he has come full circle with the release of his 2005 debut CD “Misty’s Joint”. An original fusion of R&B, Funk, Rock, and Soul featuring soaring guitar work, soulful vocals, and 10 songs written, recorded and produced by Dean.
